COVID-19 Vaccination FOR CATAGORY 1b
Starting today, January 11, 2021, in Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria and Prince William Counties, COVID-19 vaccination is available for category 1b which includes those ages 75 and over and those in the First Responder Category.
Right now, your local Health Department is the only place to get the COVID vaccination, but we have reason to believe that INOVA is going to open their Fairfax Hospital vaccine clinic up to the community within he next week. See the attached link for the INOVA page - if you bookmark and check back regularly - you will find out when they are starting to vaccinate the community.
If you live in Fairfax County, their Health Department has the following on their website. For those ages 75 and above, Make an appointment by calling the Health Department’s vaccine hotline at 703-324-7404 (Monday-Fraiday, 9a.m. to 7p.m.,Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
